Life as... a college student
College has been so much fun so far. My roommates are pretty awesome. I love all of my classes... except biology. Im taking a dance class and a sewing class, those are my favorites. I am also taking an Improv class, its not what i expected it to be but i have a lot of fun. I also have a job working in the costume department. I really enjoy it because im learning new things and also working with different kinds of fabric. Right now im working on the wedding dresses for the play. Theres two because one gets destroyed. they are doing the Taming of the Shrew. I am meeting all sorts of new people down here. Sometimes my roommates are a little crazy i guess i have to get used to having the drama all the time, its really not too bad, i just dont like the drama and it seems so stupid to me. Tonight I made dinner, one of my roommates, Janelle is sick and another, Brianna got her wisdom teeth out last week and might have dry socket, so they were in bed all day and another roommate, Lexi made my cake for tomorrow and then went to her cousins house and so i made dinner. we had chicken patties with mashed potatoes and gravy, and some pasta salad and corn. it was pretty good actually. I skyped Becca's kids today so if any of you feel the need to skype, feel free. My internet kinda sucks but i really enjoy talking to people. letters and packages are also welcome. I'll send everyone a message on Facebook with my address :D Life is great and I miss you all.

3 Little Ducks
So I had to write a song for my child development class. I made this one up to the tune of if you are happy and you know it.
3 Little Ducks
One day 3 little ducks went out to play,
One day 3 little ducks went out to play,
They didn't know where to go,
So they waddled to and fro,
Until they made it back safely to their home.
One day 3 little snakes went out to play,
One day 3 little snakes went out to play,
They didn't know where to go,
So they slithered to and fro,
Until they made it back safely to their home.
One day 3 little frogs went out to play,
One day 3 little frogs went out to play,
They didn't know where to go,
So they hip-hopped to and fro,
Until they made it back safely to their home.
Its kind of random but I hope ya like it.

Random thoughts
So I got it to work! So you probably want to know what. I am posting this post on my I pod pretty exciting of ya ask me. Today has been an fun day. School was ok, history was so much fun. We took a test as a class, and he told us a funny story, scratch that a hilarious story. That pretty much made my day. I went to dance and then to a ward party up at the Dell. That was ok. Mostly today I was happy that I finally got Internet to work on my I pod. It's pretty nice to have, I'm sure my mom probably didn't realize how much I would use it.the only disadvantage is that it only works at my house. Well it's getting late so I should probably get going.

We are dancers, what do you expect?
On Saturday I had a Ballet Utah opening social. I got there early to do glitter toes!. I love them, they are blue and sparkly of course :D For our February show we are doing excerpts from Don Quixote so we watched that. It is so amazing, the guy lifts the girl with one hand like 10 times and the costumes are great. My director was screaming while that was happening and I happened to be getting my nails done so I couldn't see it, we went back to it later when more people were coming and each time another girl would be like what happened, then saw him lift her again and joined our screaming. We ate and talked while more people got glitter toes. Our Director has a pool in her complex, so we all went swimming. We played keep the ball out of the water, we got to 21 hits. I wanted to create a water ballet, but that idea only lasted about 5 minutes, but I did start it, it was The Little Mermaid. Gradually, most people left to get their toes done, but 5 of us stayed longer and started leaping of the side of the pool. We are dancers, what do you expect! then we went back and played speed friendshipping, but because we were short on time, we just went around in a circle and answered the questions. It was fun to get to know some of the other girls that I didn't know as well. there were some embarrassing moments, and then some funny questions like if you were a vegetable, what would you be and why? Or where is your favorite place to shop? I had a lot of fun and can't wait for our Don Q breakfast!! Oh man I have so much I could write about, but it can be saved for other posts.

Summer
So since summer is over, maybe I should write about it. In June I had my Performance of Cinderella which was so much fun! Two weeks later I headed off to girls camp up at mutual dell, we had 11 girls in an 8 man tent, easy. I love my ward. Lots of fun inside jokes and stories for sure. The next week I went to EFY! with Allie and Katie. SO MUCH FUN. We had the best group, the best counselors, and the best food at the Cannon Center. We even had a mascot, Seth the Puffer fish he was awesome.

After EFY I had a 2 week break. Then I started Summer Dance workshops. I really learned a lot from them and was able to improve. A week or so later I went up to Jen's house. We played some very intense games of Hide and go Seek Tag. I'd have to say the most intense yet. Jen even played a few rounds :D. We went shopping and got the kids stuff for school. Jen made Cheesecake for her Birthday and it was so good I could have eaten like 3 slices that night. I went to YW's at her ward and we made washer necklaces, I love them! We slept out in the camper most of the nights I was up there, and I happened to get eaten. On Thursday I came home and went to do Baptisms for the Dead with my ward, afterward we got yougurt at Maceys, peach and boysenberry, or maybe blackberry, anyways it was super good. Last Saturday I had auditions for Ballet Utah. I was kinda nervous, but I made it. I'm way excited for this year. Then on the 18th we went back up to Jen's to go to the Martin Harris Pagaent in Clarkston. That was a good performance I really enjoyed it. Wednesday was the last day of summer for me. Nothing too exciting really. I mostly sat around waiting for dance class. We had a guest teacher, it was different but good, I think I got too used to my teachers and they way they did things, so summer workshop was good as well. Thursday. School. Bleh. Well I guess it wasn't too bad but it was the first day and really kind of boring. My teachers are cool, but in some of my classes I don't really know anyone. On Friday I went to school and then me and my dad went to Harry Potter 6. It was a good movie and I enjoyed it, there were only 4 or 5 others there, but thats ok. On Saturday I had dance and then I helped Lynn sort pictures to get ready to distribute, then I babysat til about 10 30 or so. I was pretty tired but it was a fun day. Thats about it for my summer, now its on to the School year, I'm excited to be a junior, but that means that I am almost a senior. Scary. Well I better go.

My room
So as most of you know, I painted my room in January. but when I moved upstairs my room never got put away, and its still not completely put away and clean, but it is definitely better :D. before it looked like a disaster struck and my bed was the only thing that was clean really. now its more like

well... a smaller disaster. My closet has been emptied, besides my clothes, and my room was put into piles, ok so my stuff was put into piles, not my room. I'm not quite sure why Tour Guide Barbie stayed in the closet til after I took my pictures, but Stephen decided it was so she could give a tour of it. sounds reasonable enough. Anyways onto bigger and better things, my piles consisted of random junk, boxes to go through, school stuff, craft stuff, more random stuff, church stuff, and things to go on my bookshelf, plus a few more random piles that contained a few items. One day was spent putting my stuff in piles and partially going through it, the next day was spent going through piles and putting some stuff away. I dont think it all fits in my closet and I have no idea where to put it. The craft room is in the process of being cleaned, sort of... and when that has been completed thats where my craft stuff will go, I guess. I really need to either dejunkify my room or get a bigger room, sounds like dejunkifying is a must.(Im sure thats a word :D). Well my room really does look better, a lot better, you are able to see carpet, and things are put where they go, at least some of it is. On Saturday I went up to IKEA and got some wall shelves and also som little storage box things. I put up my shelves today and was able to put up my dolls and such. Mostly I'm glad to have shelves on my wall and things hung up where I want them. It was somewhat frustrating to hang my shelves, but they look nice :D. Well thats about it for now! maybe I will write more often. By the way... I have my Ballet and Jazz Recital in June. Jazz is on Friday the 12th and Ballet is on Saturday the 13th. It's at Mountain Veiw High School. I'm not sure on times of the shows since it is different than last year, but I will keep you updated. Hope you all can come :D
